The perfect sweet treats for Valentines Day
PINK IS THE NEW BLACK: BLUSH PINK
Blush-pink skirts, oversized coats, matching suits pants, accessories, and well anything that comes in a rosy hue colour, should be high on your fashion wish list now! Seen as a rebel about the Monochromatic winter, this colour is easy to wear, dominating the current european S/S 2014 shows and resort collections. My advice, invest now; this trend is definitely here to stay!
THE NEW SENSE OF PROPORTION….OVERSIZED
Feeling comfy? Well you should be! You can finally step back from the painful glamour of fashion and just throw on an oversized coat, step out in a pair of voluminous pants, or walk freely in the coolest wedges around. This look is easy, slouchy and all round deluxe comfort-dressing. Finally, fashion can be our friend!
My most recent obsession - The Kimono Jacket
It’s time for a wash out! Crisp whites are pushing black aside and making a fashion renaissance, with everything from romantic lace, feminine chiffon or masculine tailoring walking down the runway. Send a textured message in fabrics that are sheer or croquet, lined or unlined. The rule is simply all or nothing, so go ahead and make some powerful waves in this seasons hottest colour
This week I have been inspired by trends from around the world. There are a few running wild in Australia and a couple that are apparent back home in England.
From the tropical side of the world, I am obsessed with monochromatic tones, clashing printed suits and raging animal printed T’s. Worn in loose fitting cuts and quality fabrics, they create an chic effortless look
From England I am loving the equestrian vibe. Here I am looking at oversized fedora’s and coats, as well as studded platted shoes teamed with loosely braided hair.
Now I just need to head to the high street to snap up my looks!
Australian A/W 13 fashion obsession - Timeless Black, Black & Black!
Up the luxe factor during the day or after dark by bringing back black. This A/W fashion frenzy is slimming and easy to wear. By day think soft leather fabrics, mannish cuts and quilting. At night make your look more domineering with lacy long dresses, elegant jumpsuits or double leather. To nail this style simply cut the fuss and make a convincing case for less is more with chic black pieces in deluxe fabric.
Daily trend: Distressed Denim
One of fashions most laid back looks is back with force this season. It’s the perfect way to achieve an effortless style. With this look the more rips the better. Team with either delicate high heels or low-lying biker boots!
The Futures here!
Metallic pants, reflecting sunnies, sea-through bags and shimmering sequences, this trend is the new way to make a statement
